This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the Service. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

3.1 Personal Information

3.2 Document Data
When you upload documents for analysis, we process the content to extract entities, relationships, and evidence. Documents may contain personal or confidential information depending on what you upload.
3.3 Usage and Technical Data
- Usage Data: Feature usage, API calls, request timing
- Device and Log Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, error logs
Documents you upload may contain special category data (e.g., health or legal information). You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to process such data before uploading. We process it only to provide the Service and apply security controls to protect it.
Under the UK GDPR, we process personal data based on one or more of the following lawful bases:
- Contract: where processing is necessary to provide the Service

6.1 Beta Service Quality Monitoring
During the beta phase, we may monitor and review your document processing requests and outputs to:
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of our analysis outputs
- Identify and fix bugs or errors in the Service
- Improve the Service's performance and reliability
- Validate that the Service meets quality standards before general release
What this means:
- Authorised personnel may access your document processing data (inputs and outputs) during the 72-hour retention period
- This access is limited to quality assurance purposes only
- All data is automatically deleted after 72 hours and cannot be accessed thereafter
- We maintain strict access controls and audit logs for any data access
Lawful Basis: Legitimate Interests (quality assurance and product improvement during beta phase)
Your Rights: You retain all rights under UK GDPR. If you have concerns about beta monitoring, please contact us at support@transientintelligence.com.
- Document processing data: Stored for up to 72 hours, then automatically deleted. This includes:
- Uploaded documents and extracted content
- Analysis results, knowledge graphs, and evidence items
- All processing outputs and intermediate data
- Account data: Retained for as long as your account remains active
- Billing records: Retained for legal and accounting obligations
Automatic Deletion
We use automated systems to delete document processing data after 72 hours. Data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered after deletion.
We do not sell your data. We may share data only with:
- Service Providers:
- Supabase (database and authentication)
- Google Cloud Storage (document storage during processing)
- Google Cloud Run (compute infrastructure to run the API and document processing jobs)
- OpenAI (analysis and language model processing). When you submit content for AI processing, your inputs and outputs may be processed and temporarily retained by OpenAI for service delivery, monitoring, and abuse prevention for up to 30 days. We do not use your content to train our models; and for OpenAI's API services, OpenAI states that API customer content is not used to train their models by default. - Stripe (payments)
- Legal Requirements: If required by law or court order
All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data.
Your data may be processed outside the UK. Where transfers occur, we use appropriate safeguards to protect your data, such as standard contractual clauses and/or other legally recognised transfer mechanisms, depending on the provider and destination.

We use essential cookies and/or local storage to provide the Service (for example, to keep you signed in).
