## What Transient is
Transient is a research-led infrastructure company. The public surface centres on three things:
- Trace. A runtime governance layer that intercepts proposed agent actions before execution, evaluates them against policy, and produces signed receipts of every decision.
- Rocky. A series of compact specialised models trained on those receipts. They learn the approve, deny, and freeze boundary from production-shaped evidence.
- Receipts. Structured records of intent, evidence, decision, and outcome, signed with Ed25519. They serve as audit artifacts and as training data for the next model.
